Sydney has some great restaurants. The eating out scene is great if you are open minded to try all types of cuisines. However, when it comes to Indian restaurants the scene becomes quite average. While there are Indian eateries popping up at every nook & corner, most of them fail to live up to the standards. Its the usual curry/gravy base with different meat or vegetables. Most people resort to Biryani as the savior. So where do you get the best Biryani in Sydney?

Below is a 'Work In Progress' and evolving list of places where you are assured to be satisfied with the Biryani. The list has been compiled based on my personal experience, popular amogst my work colleagues and friends.

Evaluation Criteria: Quality of spices + Taste + Amount of Meat + Overall Quantity

Please leave a comment and let me know if you know of any other place (big or small) serving amazing Biryani. I will include it into the list for the benefit of all Biryani lovers.
